Hello, I’m Kato George, founder of Bone·A·Fide Pet Care!

All my life I have loved animals. In my youth, even at a very early age, whenever the opportunity crossed my path I was bringing home birds, hamsters, rabbits, frogs, fish, cats, dogs, ducks…you name it! I was fortunate to have parents who allowed me to indulge in my passion. I love animals so much that many close to me likely thought I would pursue a career working with them.

Alas, after college I dove headfirst into Corporate America, traveling extensively both domestically and abroad. It was after years of imposing on friends and neighbors for the care of my beloved pets that gave me my inspiration to form Bone·A·Fide Pet Care. 

With all of the traveling and late work nights I’ve experienced, I know exactly what it is like worrying about your pet’s care and happiness while away, or that they are receiving the attention they deserve and need on those long days. 

That is why the foundation of my business is built on developing long-lasting, trusting relationships with you and your companions...by providing that priceless sense of well being that comes with knowing that your pets are safe, happy and lovingly cared for, regardless of where you are in the world.

Being a particular “mom” myself to Chihuahua-mix pups Lucy and Mochi, my sweet Senegal Chloe, who I spoon-fed from the age of 7 weeks, and my little parrotlet buddy Squirt, you can trust that my standards are as high for your precious pets as they are for my own!

My work as a pet sitter has been and continues to be extremely rewarding. What better job could a person ask for than to be greeted by cheerful wagging tails, meows, chirps and the sound of elated pet parents when they return home to their happy kids!
